85th Anniversary

Starting as a Community Chest in 1937 the United Way of South Central Massachusetts has moved forward with each passing year.  Now celebrating 85 years of serving the people in the southern part of Worcester County we continue to help thousands of people annually to make their lives better.  By providing access to early childhood education and care, financial resources to combat homelessness and provide income saving programs, and healthy initiatives such as nutrition for the elderly and programs to improve health outcomes.  The United Way has been there for those that need it most.

We are proud of those 85 years and want to celebrate with our member agencies, corporate partners and donors by hosting an 85th Anniversary Campaign Awards and Jazz Dinner on March 29, 2023.    It will be a night of great music by the Jerry Seeco Jazz Trio, fine dining at Samuel Slaters Restaurant and Hall, raffles and special awards.   Our special guest speaker is Sheriff Lew Evangelidis.
