United Way has received funding from the Massachusetts Department of Early and Secondary Education for After School and Out of School Time – Rebound (ASOST-R). We are pleased to announce that the RFP for the third round of grants opens tomorrow, June 1st, for School Year 2022 – 2023. Programs that would like to continue their work are asked to re-apply.
Grants will be used to support project-based learning, enrichment activities and comprehensive student support services. Most grants will be between $5,000 and $50,000 for the towns we serve in South Central MA (Charlton, Dudley, Southbridge, Sturbridge and Webster).
Grants will be made to 501c3 organizations and municipal governments. If your program doesn’t meet these criteria, we may be able to help in connecting with a fiscal agent. Please email echo.lahey@unitedwaycm.org with questions about eligibility or you may contact me directly. We encourage programs/efforts to apply as we are seeking to offer diverse options for kids, youth and teens.
We have partnered with the United Way of Central MA for application processing. Visit After School and Out of School Programs - United Way of Central Massachusetts (unitedwaycm.org) to learn more and to start an application. These funds will support efforts for the 2022-2023 school year. Deadline for the 3rd round is June 17.
Office hours to learn more and ask questions will be held on June 3, 1 PM, June 6, 3:30 PM, June 7, 10 AM, and June 14, 12:00 noon over Zoom, with more opportunities as needed. Attendance at these sessions is encouraged and not mandatory.
